What your plan allows

Manual assessment and figure export are free. “Generate AI draft” is paid. On the free plan, you judge every domain yourself, which good practice requires in any case. Like every AI feature, it requires a verified email.

Your judgement is final

The automated assessment is a supporting draft. Review and correct every domain. Risk of bias remains the reviewer's judgement.

Assess each study

  1. Check the tool. The app suggests one based on the study design, and you can change it.
  2. Choose how to start. “Generate AI draft” proposes a judgement and quotation for each domain. You can also assess everything manually.
  3. Review each domain. Confirm or correct the judgement against the full text.
  4. Save the assessment. The result appears in a traffic-light figure and an exportable table.

Make an independent assessment

If you enable a second reviewer, you assess blind first. The AI draft is revealed when you save, and agreement by domain is measured with Cohen's kappa. Your corrections and the final assessment are recorded.

Troubleshooting

  • A study says “No PDF”. The draft needs full text. Upload it in Full text or assess the study manually.
  • It will not generate drafts. At least one included study must have a PDF.
  • I disagree with the draft. Correct the domain. This is a normal part of the review, and your decision is marked as manually confirmed.
